Software engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

BlackArrow is looking for a highly motivated software engineer for our advanced advertising system for New TV platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Web-based enterprise applications with front-end focus
• Produce high-quality results in an agreed upon timely manner
• Work with cross-functional team throughout software development life cycles

Requirements:

• Strong familiarity with front-end Web development; particularly  Spring MVC framework, AJAX, YUI and other open source JavaScript libraries
• Excellent understanding and hands-on experience of XML, XML schema design, and XSLT using JAVA- based solutions
• Experience with the design and implementation J2EE-based solutions including:
  • JSP, Servlet, and EJBs
  • JSON, XML/XSLT, REST, and Web Services
  • Hibernate or other ORM tools and SQL
  • Spring Framework MVC
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Experience with the following technologies:
  • JBoss/Tomcat Application Server
  • MySQL and Oracle databases
  • YUI, prototype, or other JavaScript libraries
  • Spring MVC framework
  • Metro or Axis Java Web Services Stack
• Knowledge of complex enterprise-platform engineering experience and enterprise software or SaaS preferred
• BS or MS in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
