BlackArrow is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated product manager to drive development and turn requirements into product around its advanced advertising system for New TV platforms. This candidate must have strong presentation and writing skills, a passion for turning customer requirements into software products, and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment within a young company. As a product manager you will be responsible for projects that have significant impact to BlackArrow and the advertising industry in general.
Responsibilities:
Work with Product Management leads to understand market and product requirements documents and turn them into functional specifications from which product can be built
Work closely with the Project Management and Engineering teams to help define development tasks and appropriate development sprints or milestones
Represent the voice of the customer during product development projects
Prioritize features, functionality and efforts during product development projects
Become the expert on the BlackArrow advertising system and understanding how our customers use the product
Requirements:
The position requires significant organizational skills; outstanding communications and problem-solving skills; knowledge of the product development lifecycle; and experience with advertising operations in the cable/MSO, telco and media and entertainment industries.
Requires detailed knowledge of the workflows, processes and technology involved in ad sales and ad operations processes for TV and/or Internet advertising
Requires the ability to turn conceptual ideas into detailed functional specifications from which product can be built
1 – 4 years of software or Hosted Services/ASP product management responsibility or equivalent with demonstrated success
Proven experience working with extremely tight deadlines in order to meet aggressive product schedules
Ability to concisely summarize complex issues and make clear, compelling recommendations
Requires BA/BS, or equivalent experience
