BlackArrow Names Larry Kramer Chairman of the Board; Expands Executive Team with CFO Tracy Martin

San Mateo, February 25, 2008 – BlackArrow, a provider of multiplatform ad-management systems for viewer-controlled video, today announced Larry Kramer has been named chairman of the board of directors, and Tracy Martin has joined the company as chief financial officer. Kramer provides deep knowledge of, and insight into, the digital media content business as well as additional governance for BlackArrow, while Martin augments an experienced leadership team from the advertising, television, cable and digital media industries.

Larry Kramer is senior advisor at Polaris Venture Partners, a national venture capital firm with over $3 billion under management. From March 2005 until November 2006, he served as the first president of CBS Digital Media, a new division he created to integrate all new media operations for the network. Prior to joining CBS, Kramer was chairman, CEO and founder of MarketWatch, Inc. (CBS MarketWatch) until its sale to Dow Jones in January 2005. Kramer was also vice president of Data Broadcasting Corp., following its acquisition of his company, DataSport, Inc. Previously, Kramer spent more than 20 years in journalism as an award-winning reporter and editor for the San Francisco Examiner, the Washington Post and the Trenton (N.J.) Times.
As chief financial officer, Martin has fiduciary purview over BlackArrow’s business and operations. Prior to joining BlackArrow, Martin served as vice president of operations, finance at Yahoo! Inc. Previously, he was senior vice president, operations and chief financial officer at Knight Ridder Digital where he had responsibility for the company’s 31 websites, in addition to management of all financial functions of the company’s online operations. Before Knight Ridder Digital, Martin was chief financial officer for Red Herring Communications and corporate controller for NeoMagic Corporation. Martin also held various senior finance positions at Apple Computer and was a senior auditor at Price Waterhouse.
