BlackArrow Demonstration at CableLabs Advanced Advertising InterOp Showcased Multiple Demo Day Use Cases and Partner Vendor Integrations

At last week’s CableLabs® InterOp event, BlackArrow participated in five out of six live, advanced advertising use case demonstrations in conjunction with several partners around the ecosystem. BlackArrow and its partners demonstrated ad insertion and reporting capabilities for both linear and video-on-demand TV environments, as well as support for interactive EBIF, graphical overlay and video advertisements.
BlackArrow showcased its campaign management and ad decisioning for interactive telescoping EBIF-based applications together with partners ARRIS, FourthWall Media (see related press release), Nielsen and Sigma Systems, in a demonstration that utilized SCTE 130 Digital Program Insertion interfaces in conjunction with CableLabs’ Stewardship and Fulfillment Interfaces (SaFI). BlackArrow also teamed-up with Cisco, Motorola, Nielsen and Sigma Systems, as well as a new partner, NDS, to provide campaign management and ad decisioning for cable environments.
The November 2009 InterOp marked the first public unveiling of the BlackArrow Placement Opportunity Information Service (POIS) – an implementation of the SCTE 130-5 specification, and a component of the BlackArrow Advanced Advertising Systemfor New TV.
